Olight, a leading brand in mid-to-high-end flashlights, has announced two major charity initiatives in October, focusing on breast cancer awareness and hurricane disaster relief. The company is using its global platform to raise funds and awareness for critical causes through product sales and donations.
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Olight will donate all proceeds from sales of its Oclip Pink model to breast cancer organisations worldwide. In the United States, these funds will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), while in countries such as Germany and Australia, local breast cancer organisations like Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V. and the National Breast Cancer Foundation will receive the donations. Olight’s multi-year commitment to breast cancer advocacy has so far raised over $600,000, directly benefiting more than 10,000 patients globally.
Emily Millender, Manager of Strategic Partnerships at the NBCF, praised the ongoing partnership with Olight. “Through Olight’s yearly donations and their gifting of flashlights, they continue to provide much-needed hope to those battling breast cancer. We are immensely grateful for their commitment and look forward to future collaborations,” she said.
Olight’s charitable efforts don’t stop there. The company has also launched a Hurricane Relief Campaign aimed at supporting communities affected by the devastating hurricanes Helene and Milton in the United States. Proceeds from the sale of three key products—the Mettle 3, Seeker 4, and Diffuse—will be used to help fund disaster recovery efforts in affected areas. Additionally, Olight has donated $42,466.69 worth of flashlights to provide essential lighting in these disaster-stricken communities.
In total, the hurricane relief campaign raised $123,577, which Olight is using to support ongoing disaster relief work. Along with the cash donation, the company has coordinated the distribution of critical supplies, including generators, drinking water, and heaters, to help those in need.
