Galderma has convened its largest-ever edition of the Galderma Aesthetic Injector Network (GAIN) event, bringing together over 650 healthcare professionals (HCPs) from 14 countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific. Titled “Embarking on the NEXT Aesthetic Journeys,” the event will take place from October 26 to 27 in Incheon, South Korea. It aims to delve into six key trends identified in the “NEXT by Galderma” report, which seeks to help practitioners stay ahead in the ever-evolving aesthetics market.
With Asia-Pacific experiencing some of the highest demand for aesthetic treatments, the region represents a significant growth area for Galderma. Recent successes include the launches of Restylane® VOLYME in China, Restylane® EYELIGHT in Korea, and Alastin Skincare® in Australia, alongside recent approvals for Relfydess™ in Australia and Sculptra® in China. These developments underscore Galderma’s robust performance across various product categories, driven by a growing consumer appetite for premium, science-based aesthetic solutions.
Galderma, a leader in dermatology, has established the GAIN community to foster a network of highly trained and clinically proficient aesthetic practitioners. The initiative focuses on sharing knowledge and improving treatment experiences for both patients and professionals. As aesthetics increasingly becomes part of beauty and wellness routines globally, the market is projected to nearly double in value by 2028, reaching $25.9 billion.
Melissa Minkow, Head of JPAC at Galderma, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We’re delighted to bring the GAIN aesthetic community together in the Asia-Pacific region. This area houses some of our fastest growing markets and is a key driver of our strong commercial performance. The event is designed to showcase the latest in science and skills to propel the medical aesthetics field forward, centred around the six key trends from our groundbreaking ‘NEXT by Galderma’ report.”
The agenda will feature presentations from ten renowned global and regional experts, live demonstrations, case studies, and panel discussions that aim to enhance skin science, education, and innovation. Topics will cover the proactive beauty movement, mindful aesthetics prioritising minimal environmental impact, fast aesthetics responding to swift market changes, and expressionality—where individuals enhance their identity through aesthetics.
Van Park, a cosmetic physician and founder of DVP in Sydney, commented, “Events like GAIN JPAC, where practicing physicians can explore future trends, techniques, and products in aesthetics, are invaluable. They help us adapt our approaches to meet evolving demands and maintain the excellence our patients expect.”
The event will also address the potential for aesthetics to assist individuals experiencing rapid weight loss, further shaping the landscape of aesthetic treatments in the region. Alongside expert presentations, there will be ‘GAIN Talks’ focusing on reverse ageing and ethics in aesthetics, enriching the dialogue around dermatology and reinforcing Galderma’s position as a thought leader in the industry.
Through its commitment to education and community-building, Galderma aims to set itself apart as a preferred partner for professionals in the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of aesthetics.
