Orchardleigh Estate Wellness Retreats has announced that Hanna Longstaff, known as “The Eating Behaviour Expert,” will join its team starting 1 November 2024. Longstaff, a certified holistic life coach and nutrition specialist, brings her expertise to Orchardleigh’s wellness retreats, designed to offer an immersive and rejuvenating experience at the estate’s serene Elmhay Park.
The retreats at Orchardleigh Estate, located in the Somerset countryside, are crafted to promote holistic wellness and spiritual growth. Held over several days, each retreat combines physical activities, mindful practices, and personalised guidance to create a tranquil, rejuvenating escape. With Elmhay Park as the backdrop, attendees are invited to disconnect from their daily routines, recharge, and find clarity.
Samantha Newby Vincent, Marketing Director at Orchardleigh Estate, expressed her excitement over the new partnership: “We invited Hanna to join our team because her unique expertise is an ideal fit for our wellness retreats. Her approach to wellness complements what we offer, and we’re confident she will be a valuable addition.”
Longstaff holds multiple certifications, including those in advanced holistic lifestyle and nutrition, functional nutrition, and hypnotherapy, making her well-suited to guide attendees on their wellness journeys. Known for her evidence-based approach, Longstaff helps clients explore the connections between food, mental health, and overall wellbeing. In a statement, she emphasised the importance of food choices on mental and physical health, stating, “We often underestimate the power of food on our wellness. Making healthier, informed food choices can quickly elevate energy levels, relieve anxiety, and improve mental clarity.”
The Orchardleigh Wellness Retreats focus on promoting long-term wellbeing through a combination of nutritious meals, mindful exercises, and stress-reduction practices. Meals are prepared to restaurant standards, offering balanced and nutritious options that support the retreat’s wellness goals. The retreats are designed to create an inclusive, supportive environment where attendees can connect with themselves and experience a range of health-focused activities tailored to their needs.
Attendees are offered additional support during their retreat, including the opportunity to book personal consultations with the coaching team, which now includes Longstaff. Limited to just 20 participants, each retreat ensures a personalised experience, with attendees receiving individualised attention.
Scheduled from 8 to 10 November 2024, the upcoming retreat will focus on health, fitness, and general wellness, featuring workshops and activities aimed at helping participants find a sustainable approach to wellbeing. The estate also plans to hold additional retreats on a regular basis, with each one addressing different aspects of wellness.
