The Prada Spring/Summer 2025 Womenswear show took place on September 19, 2024, at the Deposito, Fondazione Prada in Milan, showcasing both cutting-edge fashion and innovative beauty trends. The makeup looks, created by Alexander, reflected the refined and contemporary essence of Prada’s vision for the season, using the brand’s luxurious skincare and cosmetics lines to enhance natural beauty.
The foundation for each look began with the Prada Augmented Skin collection. To prepare the models’ skin, Alexander used Prada Augmented Skin The Essence, a 2-in-1 toner and micro-peel designed to optimize skin texture, followed by Prada Augmented Skin The Serum, a cream-to-water formula that evens skin tone. The final step in the skincare routine was Prada Augmented Skin The Cream, ensuring the skin was fully hydrated before makeup application. To create a flawless base, Prada Refine Blurring Extending Primer was applied to minimize pores and fine lines, followed by Prada Reset Rebalancing Setting Powder for a balanced, soft matte finish.
For eyes and lips, Alexander tailored the use of Prada Dimensions Eyeshadow to delicately frame the eyes, while the natural arc of the brows was emphasized for an understated yet intriguing effect. Lips were primed with Prada Balm in Universal U000 for a moisturized, natural finish, with some looks featuring Prada Balm in Astral Pink to add a touch of glow. A variety of shades from the Prada Monochrome lipstick collection were applied, ranging from soft nudes for a modern look to bold shades for a more striking appearance. One standout look paired a bold eye created with Prada Dimensions Eyeshadow in Profusion 02 with a daring lip using Prada Monochrome Hyper Matte in Ultraviolet P57 and a final touch of Prada Balm in Astral Pink for a glossy finish.
The collection reflected Prada’s commitment to timeless elegance with an innovative, modern twist, and the makeup looks complemented the understated glamour of the runway.
